Mouthwatering meat from a highly-praised parrilla
Popular plate: Chinchulines de chivito (kid intestines) are some of the best in town, or go for the baby beef: a gigantic 850g beast. Get your canines ready.
Known as one of the best parrillas in San Telmo, it is up there as a contender for the best in Buenos Aires. It goes all out on the traditional aesthetic: gaucho artefacts, soccer memorabilia, tango music and white linen tablecloths.
This nod to the past was once for the favour of the old-timers who still remembered the heyday of gaucho life. While these revered gentleman are still here, visitors are squeezed in every other corner thanks to the glowing international reviews praising the meat. But it certainly deserves the accolades.
