Snout to tail eating
Popular plate: It might sound gross, but many people love the Bacon Chocolate Crunch Bar dessert, served with ice cream.
With veal brains, pig’s ear and tongue on the menu, this West Hollywood restaurant doesn’t just serve up meat – it sells parts of animals that even devoted meat eaters can feel squeamish about. Happily, it all tastes great, while Animal’s menu also includes fine fish and vegetarian dishes as well as more conservative cuts of meat for the less adventurous.
The atmosphere, meanwhile, is attractively casual, with a spare décor of white walls and low wood paneling keeping focus on the plate.
