Niche streetwear for the expensively dressed-down
Talk of the town: Centre Commercial’s founders are also the brains behind Veja, the fashionable, eco-friendly line of trainers.
Among Paris’ hippest concept stores right now, streetwear emporium Centre Commercial is a hive of hard to find labels. Carefully chosen, these often have a more environmentally friendly bent than most, and range from well-known international favourites like Norse Projects and New Balance to interesting local finds such as Bleu de Paname and Beton X Cire.
With its distressed walls and neon chandeliers, the shop’s location near the Canal St. Martin also helps make it something of a destination for local (don’t-call-us) hipsters, many of them rocking the normcore-meets-trawlerman look the shop’s collection is currently promoting.
